German Exhibition ‘a fifteen’ Invites Korean Media Art Collective
The KF will provide support to the media art group Ikkibawikrrr, after they were invited to the international exhibition a fifteen, which will
be held from June 18 through September 25, in Kassel, Germany.
The international contemporary art exhibition a, considered one of the world’s leading art events, was founded in 1955 and is held every five
years.
In Kassel, Ikkibawikrrr will study the multifaceted relationship between plants and humans, civilization and nature, and colonialism and ecology. At
the Ottoneum Museum of Natural History, they will present media art under the themes *“Seaweed Story” and “Tropics Story”.*

* “Tropics Story”: A video narrative on the remnants of the Pacific theater of World War II and colonialism on the Yap islands of Micronesia
