[Jeju Playbook]
Appreciating Jeju Island in My Daily Commute
The blue sky of Jeju Island always makes my heart flutter. I especially love the clear-blue sky seen in the picture above. Clear skies can be seen on the Korean mainland, but those in Jeju a distinct scenery with trees hard to see elsewhere.
The public park behind the KF’s Jeju headquarters has palm trees that are rarely found on the mainland. Together with Jeju’s blue skies, they sceneries that are exactly like those in photographs or postcards. The interior of the headquarters is not much different from those of other office buildings, but seeing Jeju-exclusive sights while commuting to and from work is a wondering feeling.
Jeju has plenty of days with clean air and blue skies, so I see such beautiful scenery right behind my office almost every day. Thus, I have developed a habit of dropping by the park on my way to work and taking pictures there. It is quite interesting to compare my photos and see how subtly the sky changes day by day and to pick the most appealing scene.
I will keep snapping photos of the island’s sky this summer, autumn, and winter to see how the sky and scenery differ per season.
