The KF recently published Global Hallyu 2017, a comprehensive report on the current status of the Korean Wave. The KF and the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs have produced the book annually since 2012. Featuring a comprehensive analysis of Hallyu in countries around the world, as well as the cultural characteristics of each nation, the publication is expected to be particularly useful to Hallyu researchers and cultural and artistic organizations planning to visit the countries contained in the report.
  The 2017 edition lists a total of 112 nations, with Bhutan, Angola, and Zimbabwe added to the 109 countries featured in the 2016 edition. The KF has distributed copies to government offices, mass media, and cultural institutions. The book can also be freely accessed online at ebook.kf.or.kr.
