Adieu' 2021 KF World Cinema Week!The KF would like to convey its sincere gratitude for your considerate support and participation that enabled us to successfully host the KF World Cinema Week as part of the special events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the KR which also included the 2021 ASEAN Cinema Week and the Central Asian Cinema Week, held earlier this year. During these challenging times, with the ongoing pandemic creating numerous challenges for cultural events, it would have been impossible for us to carry out the KF World Cinema Week without your active support. The festival's intimate yet meaningful opening ceremony, joined by a host of ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, showed the importance of cultural exchange through cinema, epitomized by the festival's theme, "My, \burz Our Lives in Cinema/We will also treasure the memory of welcoming guests paying a visit to the Seoul Art Cinema to enjoy the films.We sincerely hope all of you had a joyful time while encountering people and stories from around the world and, by doing so, traveling to Europe, South America, and Asia through the movies presented at the 2021 KF World Cinema Week.We will continue to do our very best to present diverse aspects of world cultures to our audience and introduce Korean culture abroad as a part of the KF’s public diplomacy activities.Last but not least, we would like to convey our heartfelt gratitude to all participating diplomatic missions in Seoul, their staff members, and our audience for the great support they have shown us.
