한국국제교류재단[KF)은 9월 26일[화] - 27일[수] 이틀에 걸쳐 노들섬 라이브 하우스에서 < 2023 공공외교랩소-Melodies without Borders[경계를 넘어선 선율] >를 개최합니다. 이번 공공외교랩소디는 전주세계소리축제와의 협력을 통한 3팀의 공연을 비롯하여, 경계를 넘나들며 새로운 음악을 선보이는 국내외 총 6팀의 음악을 즐기실 수 있도록 마련되었습니다. 그 외 인도 전통무용 '오디시' 워크숍과 서아프리카 댄스 워크숍 등 다양한 공연 전 프로그램까지 준비되어 있는 이번 2023 공공외교랩소디를 통해 깊어가는 가을, 경계를 넘나드는 세계의 선율을 만끽해보세요!

The Korea Foundation(KF) will be hosting 2023 Public Diplomacy Rhapsody: Melodies without Borders at Nodeul Island Live House on Tuesday, September 26 and Wednesday, September 27. The concert will feature 6 renowned international artists, 3 of whom are participating in cooperation with the Jeonju Int'l Sori Festival. Additionally, a diverse pre-show program will include workshops about the Indian classical dance "Odissi" and West African dance. Through Public Diplomacy Rhapsody, the KF hopes visitors can enjoy international melodies without borders in the midst of the Korean autumn.

  MARI KALKUN 마리 칼쿤
  ESTONIA 에스토니아
  에스토니아 음악계에서 활발한 활동을 하고있는 싱어송라이터 마리 칼쿤은 대자연과 에스토니아 민속음악에서 영감을 받은 음악을 선보인다. 에스토니아의 방언과 소수민족 뵈로[Vöru]족의 언어로 자연과 전통을 노래하며, 2018년 개인과 환경, 인권 등 다양한 주제를 담아 발매한 음반 [IImamötsan]은 영국 가디언지 선정 2018 World Album Top 10에 선정 되기도 했다.
  Singer-songwriter Mari Kalkun, active on the Estonian music scene, presents music inspired by Mother Nature and Estonian folk music. Her album Ilmamõtsan, which features songs inspired by nature and tradition sung in Estonian dialect and the language of the Võru minority, was released in 2018. With its various themes such as individualism, the environment, and human rights, the album was selected as one of 2018's “10 best world albums” by British newspaper The Guardian.

  콘스탄티노플은 여행을 기반으로 한 음악 앙상블이다. 이란 출신 세타르 명인이자 콘스탄티노플의 예술감독 키야 타바시안은 동서양에서 빛나던 고대 도시에서 영감을 받아 1998년 몬트리올에서 콘스탄티노플을 창단하였다. 세네갈 출신 코라 명인 아블라 시소코와의 콜라보를 통해 페르시아에서부터 서아프리카를 가로지르며 서로 다른 두 문화의 음악을 교환하는 무대를 선보인다.
  Constantinople is a musical ensemble centered on the theme of travel. Inspired by the ancient city that shone in both the East and the West, Constantinople was founded in Montreal in 1998 by Kiya Tabassian, an Iranian-born setar master and the group's current artistic director. Constantinople will present a collaborative performance with Senegalese kora master Ablaye Cissoko, playing music from two different cultures, crossing from Persia to West Africa.

  AkDanGwangChil 악단광칠

  악단광칠은 2015년 광복 70주년을 기념하여 결성되었으며, 지금의 북한 지역인 황해도 옛 음악을 원천으로 다양한 음악적 창작을 시도하며 전통과 현대를 절묘하게 엮어내는 밴드이다. 전자악기를 사용하지 않고 오로지 국악기와 전통 보컬만으로도 밴드의 그것과도 같은 강렬하고 유쾌한 사운드를 선보인다.
  AkDanGwangChil was formed in 2015 to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Korean liberation. Using the old music of Hwanghae-do, now a province of North Korea, the group attempts to construct various musical creations and exquisitely weaves tradition and modernity together. Performing with only traditional Korean instruments and vocals without using any electronics, AkDanGwangChil present a strong, entertaining sound akin to that of a modern rock band.

  SUNNY KIM 써니 킴 XAVIVA ENDEAN 아비바 엔딘

  보컬리스트 써니 킴과 클라리네티스트 아비바 엔딘은 2018년 써니 킴이 호주로 이주한 이후 긴밀한 음악적 협력 관계를 발전시켜 왔다. 호주 예술 오케스트라(Australian Art Orchestra]를 통해 만난 그들은 사색적이고 감성적인 소리 창조에 대한 탐구를 통해 연결되었으며, 지구상에서 가장 오래 지속된 음악 전통 중 하나인 요릉우(Yolngu)] 원주민 음악가들과 함께 Hand to Earth 프로젝트로 활발한 창작과 국제적 투어 활동을 해오고 있다.
  Vocalist Sunny Kim and clarinetist Aviva Endean developed a close musical collaboration when Kim moved to Australia in 2018. They met through the Australian Art Orchestra and connected over their shared exploration of sounds that evoke deeply contemplative and emotional landscapes. They have participated in many collaborative projects including Hand to Earth with the Yolngu Songmen, who maintain the oldest continuously practiced musical traditions on Earth.

  TEKERÉ 떼게레
  |COTE D'IVOIRE & KOREA 코트디부아르 & 한국
  TEKERÉ는 서아프리카 말링케 민족 언어로 '손뼉 치다'라는 뜻으로 떼게레의 음악을 듣는 모두가 손뼉 치며 같이 즐기자는 의미를 담고 있다. 코트디부아르 출신의 젬베 연주자 이브라힘 코나테를 중심으로 한 그룹 떼게레는 아프리카의 원초적인 리듬과 멜로디를 바탕으로 더 넓고 다양한 음악을 시도함으로써 새로운 사운드를 만들어내고 있다.
  Tegueré is the language of the Malinke tribe of Africa and means "to clap hands." This group is led by Ibrahim Konate, a djembe player from Ivory Coast. Tekeré's music begins with African rhythms and melodies as the group creates new sounds by experimenting with a wide variety of music.

  CHUDAHYE CHAGIS 추다혜차지스

  '추다혜차지스'는 소리꾼 추다혜를 중심으로 이루어진 사이키델릭 샤머닉 훵크 밴드이다. 사이키델릭 샤머닉 훵크(Psychedelic Shamanic Funk')는 직접 만들어낸 장르로 이들은 평안도, 제주도, 황해도 굿에서 쓰이는 무가에 레게·재즈힙합.훵크·댄스·록 등 다양한 장르를 섞어 그들만의 독특한 음악색을 보여주고 있다.
  CHUDAHYE CHAGIS is a psychedelic shamanic funk band formed around sorikkun (traditional Korean vocalist) Chu Dahye. A genre invented by the band, "psychedelic shamanic funk" is a mixture of shamanic music performed in Pyeong'an, Jeju, and Hwanghae Provinces with reggae, jazz, hip-hop, funk, dance, and rock, showcasing their unique musical personality.

• 2. 공연 시작 30분 전부터 공연장 내로 입장이 가능합니다.
• 3. 원활한 공연 진행을 위해 공연 10분전까지 입장을 완료해 주시기 바라며, 공연이 시작된 후에는 안내원의 안내에 따라 입장하게 됩니다.
• 4. 공연 중 사전 협의되지 않은 모든 형태의 촬영 및 동영상 녹화 등은 금지됩니다.
• 5. 2층 일부 좌석은 난간으로 인한 시야방해가 발생할 수 있으며, 이로 인한 취소는 불가합니다.
• 6. 생수(500ml 이하 PET]외 음료 및 음식물 반입이 불가합니다.

Companions for guests in wheelchair seats have to reserve their own ticket to enter the venue.
