Fellowship for Public Officers in ASEAN and India
Program Outline
The KF Fellowship for Public Officers is a three-month program for public officers in the ASEAN region and India. This program was conceived in order to improve cooperation between Korea and the countries included in the Korean Government’s New Southern Policy and aims to help participants obtain basic Korean language skills and enhance their knowledge and understanding of Korea.

- Program applicants must fulfill each of the following criteria:
- Junior-level central government official or local official (includes those who are employed by a public institution)
- Age 40 or under
- Basic proficiency in English or Korean
Fellowship Period
August through October 2020 (11 weeks)
Number of Available Fellowships
Approximately 40 per year
Support Details
- 01 Round-trip airfare (shortest route ⁄ economy-class)
- 02 Monthly stipend: KRW 1.2 million
- 03 Tuition fees
- 04 Health insurance (injury ⁄ medical indemnity insurance as provided by Korean insurance companies)
- 05 Accommodation
