In response to the growing importance of online resources for academic endeavors, the Korea Foundation offers its “Support for Korean Studies e-Resources” program. Under this program, the Foundation provides support to selected universities to assist with the payment of the subscription/user fees required to access online Korean Studies resources so that these materials can be more readily available to Korea-related students, scholars, and relevant specialists.
Go to KF Application PortalThe KF will determine the program support amount after evaluating the applicant’s circumstances in regard to the evaluation criteria below.
If it is not possible to submit your application online because of your lack of Internet access, you must notify the Foundation at least one week prior to the submission deadline (e-resources@kf.or.kr) ) to arrange for the delivery of your application by e-mail.
Applicants should submit information about the university’s Korean Studies program, number of Korean Studies graduate students, faculty staff, and researchers, and proposed subscription to DB resources and related fee amounts.
Subscription fee amounts for each DB resource must be determined and indicated in the program application.
The results of the Korea Foundation's evaluation process will be posted on "My project-application status" of the portal along with an e-mail message sent to individual institutions.
