The KF's 30th Anniversary

The KF’s 30th Anniversary Emblem

The KF’s 30th Anniversary Emblem image

The main symbol consists of the number "30" and six colors, each with a particular significance.

The Colors

The purple in the lower left corner signifies wisdom and soft power. The brown on the top left expresses the basis and construction of the organization. The sky blue adjacent to the curvature symbolizes progression through communication and open exchange. Finally, the emblem is resolved with education and growth (green), as well as fun and creativity (orange). In turn, these collective endeavors bear fruit as conviction and opportunities, which are symbolized by the yellow disk inside the zero.

The Shape

The number "3" and "0" form a contour that pivots at the bottom of the "3" shape, moves downward, and then curves upward again denoting an advancement into the next 30 years of the Korea Foundation.

3C

The Korea Foundation can be abstracted as the letter "C," formed at the left-most edge of the zero. "C" typifies:

  • Cornerstone: The cornerstone of enduring public diplomacy is found in soft power.
  • Clear-Sightedness: Clear-sighted vision brings about effective and win-win diplomatic relations.
  • Creativity: Creativity allows us to leap forward in the development of cultural exchanges.
