The Korea Foundation, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to Australia, and the Consulate of the Republic of Korea in Melbourne co-organized "Feel the Beat of Korea," a traditional Korean percussion music show, at the Hellenic Club of Canberra, the Llewellyn Hall of the Australian National University, and the Melbourne Recital Centre on July 27, July 28, and August 1, respectively.
"Feel the Beat of Korea" highlighted various traditional Korean percussion instruments with a colorful and lively performance. The audience clapped their hands to the beat of the drums and gave unsparing praise, along with a standing ovation, at the conclusion of the concert. Many audience members stayed behind to take photos with the performers on stage. It was a memorable event that marks the first large-scale Korean cultural performance organized since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
