The 3rd Future Leaders Forum: Korea-China-Japan 2005

The 3rd Future Leaders Forum: Korea-China-Japan 2005 will be held in Beijing, Gifu(Nagoya), Gwangju and Seoul from July 17 to 27, under the co-sponsorship of the Korea Foundation, the All-China Youth Federation and the Japan Foundation. Distinguished young representatives from the government, legislature, business, media, cultural and academic spheres from Korea, China and Japan will discuss “Trilateral Cooperation toward Building a Northeast Asian Regional Community”. This year’s delegation from Korea will consist of 5 members including National Assemblymen Choi Sung; Kim Dong-yul, Policy Advisor to the Minister of Finance and Economy; Cho Hyun-sang, Senior Vice President, Hyosung Corporation; Kim Tae-hyo, Professor, Sungkyunkwan University; Choi Hyung-du, Senior Staff Writer, Munwha Ilbo. About 10 distinguished representatives including Assemblymen Suematsu Yoshinori and Tamura Koutaro; Ishii Tomoaki, Professor, Meiji University; Okada Kenichi, Counsellor, Embassy of Japan in Korea, Iida Tatsuhito, Staff Writer, Yomiuri Newspaper; Han Jin, Deputy Director, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chen Xin, Researcher, Institute of Sociology Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Li Zhongfa, Correspondent, Xinhua News Agency from the Japanese and the Chinese side. The Forum is expected to promote mutual understanding and friendship among the three countries.
