Under the invitation program of “Next-Generation Leaders' Visit to Korea,” eight prominent Africans from Sudan, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Algeria, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, and Tanzania will visit Korea during the period May 15 to 22. During the visit, participants will be briefed and have discussions on reciprocal cooperative exchanges between Korea and the African region, as well as Korean policy on Africa and Korea’s economic development, by visiting the Korea Economic Research Institute (KERI), the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) and the Institute for Foreign Affairs and National Security (IFANS). In addition, they will have a chance to see diverse aspects of Korea by visiting historical sites in Seoul and Gyeongju and by touring industrial facilities of Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motors and Hyundai Heavy Industries
