KF Graduate Studies Fellowship for Foreign Students in Korea Program Closed Since 2002, the Korea Foundation has provided fellowships to foreign graduate students studying Korea-related subjects, enrolled at Korean graduate schools, under the program of "KF Graduate Studies Fellowship for Foreign students in Korea." However, the Foundation has decided to terminate this program with effect from the 2009 academic year, because the Korean government has recommended that public organizations arrange similar programs, both in character and performance, but individually activated among different institutions, in order to spend budget more effectively. The Foundation greatly appreciates the cooperation and support of the universities and institutions concerned over the past seven years of this program’s operation, and we would like to maintain these cooperative relationships in the future. The Foundation also hopes that all the Fellowship recipients and promising foreign students keep up their interest in the Foundation and we wish everyone much success in their Korean studies.
