Mr. Jayampathi Bandaranayake, Chairman of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will visit Korea from May 3 to 9 by invitation of the Korea Foundation.
During his visit to Korea, he will have opportunities to explain corporate investment circumstances and promising areas for investment in Sri Lanka and share Korea’s experiences to spur development and to lure investment from abroad. His visit is thus expected to reinvigorate economic ties between the two countries, solidifying friendships and the building of networks between the two countries.
During his stay, Mr. Bandaranayke will meet with counterparts and hold discussions on possibilities of cooperation with the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, the Korea Chamber of Commerce & Industry, SUDOKWON Landfill Site Management Corporation, the Environmental Management Corporation, the Nuclear Power Office in the Korea Electronic Power Corporation and the Korea Maritime Institute. He will also visit Hyundai Motors in Ulsan and cultural and historic sites in Gyeongju.
