Korean Studies Workshops for Australasian Educators in 2009, co-hosted by the Foundation and Korea University, will be held from July 13 to 26.
Twenty-four participants from Australia and New Zealand will have an opportunity to enhance their knowledge of Korea.
The workshop program includes lectures on various topics of Korean Studies such as Korean politics, economy, culture, education and history, DMZ tours, visit to a high school and historical sites, as well as a field trip to Gyeongsang-do.
The workshop is designed to enhance mutual understanding between the people of Korea and Australasian states by inviting groups of Australasian educators to visit Korea, and encouraging them to share their experiences with local people upon their return.
