On May 19, the KF Global Center will be hosting a special event introducing Sri Lankan music and dance in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Korea-Sri Lanka diplomatic relations. A 10-member troupe will visit Korea for the performance, which will be held at the KB Haneul Round Theater. The troupe is led by Ravibandu Vidyapathi, a dancer and choreographer who is one of the most acclaimed contemporary drummers of his country. The program will present a feast of traditional and modern music and dances from Sri Lanka, featuring original and passionate performances that employ a variety of percussion instruments.
