The KF will invite 14 journalists from 13 countries as part of its 2017 Invitation Program for Distinguished Guests. Participants include the head of Azerbaijan’s state news agency and a news anchorman from Costa Rica. The journalists will visit major media institutions in Korea for a first-hand look at current journalism trends and international cooperation in the sector. They will also meet foreign correspondents in Korea to learn about Korean culture, politics, economy, and gain a better overall understanding of the country. During their stay, program participants will also pay an official visit to the 2018 PyeongChang Olympic Winter Games Organizing Committee and have a tour of the facilities to report on Pyeongchang’s preparation for the Games in their home countries.
