The Korea Foundation and the Sungkyun Institute of China Studies co-hosted the Forum for Chinese Graduate Students in Korea at the KF Seminar Room in Seoul on April 12, 2018. The forum was attended by close to 100 outstanding Chinese graduate students currently playing a leading role in the Chinese student community in Korea.
A total of six events including lectures by experts and educational field trips will be organized under the program from April to November. The lectures will cover Korean politics and history; popular culture including K-pop and cinema; industry and the economy; social issues including employment and generational divides; and provincial culture and travel.
In one of the highlights of the program, the participants will be briefed on R.O.K.-China relations by officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Assembly, while engaging in frank and in-depth discussions on Korea.
Through implementing the program, the Korea Foundation seeks to help Chinese students studying in Korea develop a better understanding of Korean culture and society.
