Welcoming the long-awaited spring, the Korea Foundation hosted a classical music concert at the IBK Chamber Hall of the Seoul Arts Center on April 18, 2018, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Republic of Korea and the Kingdom of Thailand.
Attended by the Thai Ambassador to Korea, H.E. Mr. Singtong Lapisatepun, the EU Ambassador to Korea, H.E. Mr. Michael Reiterer, and other distinguished guests, the concert featured the promising Thai pianist Poom Prommachart and the Gaia String Quartet from Korea. The artists played works imbued with the scent of spring by Schubert, Balakirev, Mendelssohn and Franck.
The artists received standing ovations and cheers from the audience for their outstanding performance.
