On June 16, 2018, the awards ceremony of the photo contest “ASEAN in Korea, Korea in ASEAN” was held at the Special Exhibition Gallery of the ASEAN Culture House (ACH). Around 30 visitors including 6 awardees participated in the ceremony.

The ceremony began with welcoming remarks by Seung-hoon Ham, Director-General of the ACH. After presenting certificates and flowers, the winners introduced their photographic works. In addition, Mr. Gihun Noh, one of the three ary photographers whose works were displayed alongside the contestants’ submissions, gave an ‘Artist Talk’ to the visitors.

The ACH had held the contest in May and selected 71 photographs among a total of 521 submissions. The award-winning works were presented at the ACH Special Exhibition Gallery from June 12 to 27. The exhibition also features photos of the ASEAN region taken by three Korean ary photographers, Mr. Haseon Park, Mr. Jongwoo Park, Mr. Gihun Noh.
