17th Korea-India Dialogue Held in Seoul
Together with the Seoul Forum for International Affairs (SFIA) and the Ananta Aspen Centre of India, the Korea Foundation hosted the 17th Korea-India Dialogue in Seoul on October 31 and November 11, 2018.

The Korea-India Dialogue, one of the exchange programs designed to support the South Korean government’s New Southern Policy, is a track 1.5 dialogue with the participation of the two countries’ leaders. Under the title of “Co-Navigating Turbulent World Order and the Fourth Industrial Revolution,” the recent 17th gathering served as an occasion for in-depth discussion across seven sessions on how to promote cooperation between the two countries in various fields such as politics, economics, security, society, culture and technology.

Korea Foundation President Lee Sihyung, SFIA Chairman Lee Hong-koo and Indian Ambassador to the Republic of Korea Sripriya Ranganathan delivered opening remarks at the opening ceremony on the morning of October 31. Following the successful opening, Deputy Minister of International Trade and Legal Affairs Kim Chang-kyu of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Vice Minister Cho Hyun of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made a keynote speech at luncheon and dinner, respectively.
