On April 1, 2019, the Korea Foundation hosted a visit by students from Inha University in Incheon. The visit was arranged as part of the KF’s Public Diplomacy Academy, a program launched in 2018 to support universities to offer courses on public diplomacy. Inha University is one of seven universities that joined the program in its first year. This spring, 50 of the university’s students enrolled in a course titled “Cultural Public Diplomacy and Expatriates,” and their visit to the KF’s Global Center allowed them to observe public diplomacy activities first-hand.
The students first attended a lecture on “Cultural and Public Diplomacy and the KF” by Director AHN Mihee of the KF Global Center Department. Afterwards, they were given a guided tour of the “Nowruz, Spring of Central Asia” exhibition at the KF Gallery.
