On April 21, the ASEAN Culture House (ACH) held an awards ceremony for the “2019 ACH Photo & Video Contest.” The ceremony was held in association with “2019 Easy Access Cambodia & Cambodia Culture Day,” an event that was hosted in partnership with the Embassy of Cambodia. Approximately 160 visitors, including 15 award winners, attended the event. Incidentally, the grand prize-winning photo, entitled “Jump for Hope,” is about the active nature and optimism of Cambodian children, making the presentation of the photo’s award by the Cambodian ambassador to Korea all the more meaningful.

The awards ceremony was followed by a celebration event for “Cambodia Culture Day” that included beautiful performances. Awardees and distinguished guests took a tour of the contest awards exhibition, which was entitled “ASEAN Gaze”.

The exhibition was comprised of four themes: “Children,” “Women,” “Work and Life,” and “Travel and Communication.” Each exhibited work had its own story and expressed the memory of the creator, making the exhibition more interesting. The exhibition will be held until June 2 in the Special Exhibition Gallery of the ASEAN Culture House.
