The 2014 Annual Conference of the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) is being held on March 27-30 at the Philadelphia Marriot Downtown, in Philadelphia. The AAS stages this annual gathering to bring together more than 3,000 Asian Studies educators from around the world. In conjunction with the conference proceedings, the Korea Foundation and the University of Pennsylvania are jointly hosting a 'Koreanists' Reception' event on March 28, which serves as an ideal occasion to renew friendships and make new contacts among the fast-growing number of Korean Studies scholars and specialists.
