On June 10, the KF will co-host the 2016 East Asia International Symposium, in Tokyo, together with the East Asia Research Institute of Japan and the Hanbaek Reunification Foundation. Some 20 Korean and Japanese scholars and researchers will strive to advance mutual understanding and the future prospects of East Asia through the discussion of cooperation and burden-sharing between Korea and Japan, in response to the evolving circumstances of East Asia. They will also discuss practical measures to enhance Korea-Japan relations and assure security and peace throughout East Asia.
