The Korea-Russia Friendship Korea Culture Festival, an event sponsored by the KF, will be held in Moscow on June 12. Held annually since 1994 and its 23rd year, the festival was founded as a unifying occasion that utilizes cultural performances and interactive events to enhance cultural understanding between Russia and Korea as well as among diverse ethnic groups in Russia. Local performance groups will present samulnori percussion, traditional dance and other Korean performance arts. Also Moscow K-pop fans will show off their dance moves flash-mob skills. In addition, an eclectic mix of cultural interactive events and folk games will allow attendees to acquire a personal glimpse of Korean culture and arts.
