On July 26, the KF hosted the KF Next-Generation Policy Experts Alumni Dialogue 2016, involving more than 70 foreign affairs specialists from seven countries who had been part of the KF’s next-generation policy expert programs during 2015. Presenters from each country expounded on issues related to the themes, “Stopping North Korea’s Nuclear Program” and “Inter-Korean Peace and East Asian Politics,” through paper presentations and working-group discussions.
  As a result of this gathering, the KF established a platform for each nation’s respective authorities to exchange opinions on their research study of the Korean Peninsula and East Asia, as well as related fields of interest, and to expand and reinforce their professional networks and personal friendships.
