What cities around the world do Koreans most want to visit?

According to a survey of 1,700 Korean participants over 12 years of age, the most popular dream destination is Paris with 11 percent of respondents picking the French capital, followed by Sydney, Australia, and New York City, USA, with seven percent each. The top 10 list also includes Hawaii (five percent); Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo (four percent each); Rome (three percent); Vancouver (2.3 percent); and Prague (two percent). Respondents were asked to freely choose destinations, regardless of their international travel experience.

A dozen other cities received over one percent of the votes each. These are: Washington, DC (1.9 %); Toronto (1.8 %); Singapore and Verne (1.5 %); Osaka, Hong Kong, and Barcelona (1.4 %); Bangkok and Da Nang (1.3 %); Beijing (1.2 %); and San Francisco and Berlin (1.1 %).
