Korean Art Workshop for Next-generation Experts

From September 4¬–8, 18 leading next-generation experts in Korean art from 11 countries will visit Seoul for an international workshop. The same visitors have already proven their outstanding expertise by participating in the online workshop on Korean art held in 2020. This year’s workshop will offer the experts an opportunity, previously delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, to explore Korean art on site and attend a variety of lectures.

Under the theme of “Modern and Contemporary Korean Art,” the workshop will allow participants to explore the local art scene and broaden their understanding of Korean art through meetings with artists. The visit is timed to coincide with the international art fairs Kiaf SEOUL and Frieze Seoul, allowing for a truly vivid and meaningful experience of the Korean and international art scene.
