Park Dae-sung: Ink Reimagined Exhibition at Stony Brook University

For three months starting from September 14, the Charles B. Wang Center of Stony Brook University in Brookhaven, New York, will hold the Park Dae-sung: Ink Reimagined exhibition. Featuring Park’s ink and wash paintings and calligraphy works, it introduces viewers to the traditional characteristics of Korean ink and wash paintings through the artist’s bold and contemporary interpretations.

With the KF’s support, the exhibition is currently touring the US and has been shown at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, and at the Harvard University Korea Institute over the last year. After the show at the Charles B. Wang Center closes on December 10, the exhibition will travel on to the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
