KF Hosts Visit by Distinguished Media Figures

From September 3 to 9, the KF will host a visit by distinguished guests from the journalism and media field in nine countries through the KF’s invitation program for figures from a wide range of professional areas.

Among the nine visitors are Tadayuki Tamai and Syed Ashik Rahman, the presidents of Miyagi Television Broadcasting in Japan and RTV in Bangladesh, respectively; Mohammad Ghazal, the editor of the Jordan Times; Don Wanyama, the CEO of the New Vision Group in Uganda; and Sahar Mechri Kharrat, the CEO of Le Manager, a business magazine in Tunisia.

During their week-long stay, the guests will visit major Korean news organizations and enjoy multiple opportunities to experience Korean culture to deepen their understanding of Korea and its journalism. It is hoped that the visit will contribute to promoting Korea to the peoples of the guests’ respective countries, as well as help to foster foreign journalists who are well-versed in Korean affairs and will accurately report about Korea.
