Four US Attorneys General to Visit Korea

From October 29 to November 4, four US attorneys general and their spouses will pay a visit to Korea at the KF’s invitation. The four chief law officers hail from the States of Nevada (Aaron D. Ford), Arkansas (Tim Griffin), Alaska (Treg Taylor), and Connecticut (William Tong), respectively. Each invitee is believed to have crucial, state-level influence on issues related to Korea, and their upcoming visit is expected to help deepen their understanding of the country.

While in Korea, the attorneys general will visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, and the US Embassy in Seoul. The guests will also meet with people operating Korean businesses in each of their states and experience Korean culture in diverse ways. It is hoped that their visit will contribute to building a network of legal professionals well-versed in Korean cultural, social, and political affairs.
