Park Dae-sung: Ink Reimagined Exhibition at University of Mary Washington

From October 26 to December 10, the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Virginia, in the United States, will hold the Park Dae-sung: Ink Reimagined exhibition with the KF’s support.

Before coming to Mary Washington, the touring exhibition stopped at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) in California; the Hood Museum of Art at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire; and the Harvard University Korea Institute in Cambridge, Massachusetts, over the last year. As of September 14, the exhibition is under way at the Charles B. Wang Center of Stony Brook University in Brookhaven, New York. The KF also supported the exhibition at the Hood Museum of Art and the Charles B. Wang Center.

Through the exhibition at the University of Mary Washington, Park’s ink and wash paintings and calligraphy works will introduce traditional Korean painting techniques and modern interpretations thereof to art lovers in Virginia.
