Arumjigi Culture Keepers Foundation presents a series of videos on the
special exhibition Homecoming, produced with the support of the
KF. The exhibition explores Korean food, clothing, and shelter.
The four videos in the series show the process of repairing and
remodeling the Arumjigi Culture Keepers Foundation’s former office and
exhibition hall, a traditional Korean hanok house in
Anguk-dong, located in the heart of Seoul. Also included are
interviews with experts and scenes from the preparations for the
exhibition. The release of the series was preceded by teasers
advertising the exhibition and the series itself in September and
October.
Arumjigi Culture Keepers Foundation is a nonprofit cultural
organization that has been studying traditional Korean culture and
seeking its modern inheritance since its founding in 2001.
The series will be made available on the KF’s YouTube channel (youtube/TheKoreaFoundation). The videos are especially recommended to those interested in
hanok, who are sure to enjoy.
